Nido Chair
Designed for a luxury residential development by Fuenttes in Colombia, Nido was conceived as a statement piece that reflects the warmth, sophistication, and comfort of contemporary living. Inspired by the protective nature of a nest, the chair creates an intimate retreat within larger social spaces.
Sculptural Form
Nido combines soft, organic volumes with a clean architectural silhouette. The oversized cushions appear to gently embrace the user, creating a sculptural presence that functions as both furniture and art within the interior environment.
Comfort Experience
Generous proportions and enveloping forms were carefully developed to provide exceptional comfort. The elevated back cushions offer support while creating a sense of privacy and relaxation, encouraging moments of pause and connection.
Materiality
The chair features premium upholstery finishes selected to complement the refined interiors of the development. Rich textures and tactile materials enhance the sensory experience while reinforcing the project's luxury positioning.
Manufacturing Strategy
Nido is built around a CNC-machined plywood internal frame combined with multi-density foam layers that create its distinctive rounded geometry. The upholstery is precision-tailored and hand-finished to achieve seamless transitions across the complex curved surfaces.
Functional Details
A concealed swivel mechanism integrated into the pedestal base allows smooth 360-degree rotation while maintaining the purity of the design. The result is a collectible furniture piece that balances craftsmanship, comfort, and contemporary elegance.
Acento Chair
Design Vision
The Acento chair focuses on clean lines and bold shapes. The goal is to create a modern accent piece that stands out visually while providing a warm, welcoming place to sit.
Form & Aesthetics
The look is all about contrast: a smooth, curved wooden shell cradles two large, plush cushions. A thick, cylindrical roll forms the backrest, resting right above a deep, square seat pad.
Experience
Designed for an upright yet relaxed posture, the chair keeps you supported without letting you slump. The firm bolster aligns your back perfectly, making it ideal for reading, morning coffee, or conversation.
Materials & Finishes
This design pairs highly textured bouclé fabric with a smooth walnut wood frame. Working beautifully in both earthy forest green and soft oatmeal tones to highlight the natural wood grain.
Luna day Sofa
The Continuum Lounge was envisioned as a sculptural daybed that seamlessly integrates storage and seating. Its goal is to create a multi-functional sanctuary with flowing, organic forms that provide a sense of calm and integrated luxury.
