Overview

  • Immigrants face challenges in accessing reliable information about settling in Toronto, such as housing, healthcare, and employment.

  • The goal was to create a user-friendly app and website that centralizes this information and simplifies the settlement process.

Ideation and Concept Development

Brainstorming:

  • Developed ideas for features such as geolocation-based services, a personalized checklist, and offline access.

User Flows:

  • Mapped out user journeys for key tasks (e.g., finding nearby healthcare services).

  • Created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the app’s structure and navigation.
